The seniority numbers will be updated in December 2026, and your new seniority number will be printed on the dues statement that you receive in early December. The new seniority numbers will be reflected on the Santa Anita Meet that begins on December 26, 2026. Sending out the updated numbers with the dues statements will ensure that everyone is made aware of their new number, and will allow for the Union membership rolls to be completely up to date.

At the contract ratification meeting on May 5, 2026, we discussed the terms of the proposed tentative agreements, which included a reduction to the Health & Welfare opt-out payments from 50% to 30% of the employers’ CAP rate. Once the membership ratified the contract on May 12, 2026, the new terms went into effect retroactively to February 1, 2026. The February 1, 2026 pay increase of 3.5% went into effect as of the current payroll period of 5/10/2026 - 5/16/2026.
